Accept the fact that everyone makes mistakes, and what matters most is what you choose to do next.<br>With a more positive attitude, you can achieve great things!</p>



<p><strong>#5: Put More Resources Into Making Your Own Life Better.</strong></p>



<p>If a friend asked to borrow $50, you’d probably give it to them.<br>If a restaurant charges $50 for some mediocre food and a few drinks, you pay up!<br>But when it comes time to invest $50 in yourself, to make your own life better… suddenly, you clam up!<br>You think, “I don’t deserve to spend that money on myself.”<br>And that’s a serious problem!<br>It’s not just about spending money, of course… we often give away so much of our TIME to other people, without ever spending time on ourselves.<br>You deserve to put your own resources into improving your life.<br>After all, if you’re not willing to do it, no one else will do it for you! </p>



<p><strong>#6: Write Down Three Grateful Thoughts Today. (Seriously, Write It Down!)</strong></p>



<p>I already know <em>you’re thinking of cheating</em>.<br>You’re going to just think about something positive and grateful instead of actually writing it down.<br>Don’t do that to yourself!<br>Remember: it’s time to start putting your resources (time &amp; money) into making your life better.<br>If someone else asked you to write down a list for them, you would do it! So why not put that same energy into writing a list that will make your life better?<br>It’s been proven that being grateful increases your sense of <strong>happiness</strong>, <strong>reduces stress</strong>, and can even fight <strong>depression</strong>.<br>And it will only take you a few minutes!<br>This exercise may be surprisingly difficult at first. We spend so much time thinking about the things we need to fix, the things we need to change, that we never take time to think about what we’re grateful for.<br>It doesn’t have to be a profound list, either. Maybe you’re grateful for some nice weather, a new coffee shop, and a great book.<br>Whatever it is, take time to<strong> write it down</strong>.</p>



<p><strong>#7: Listen and Be Ready for Divine Signs.</strong></p>



<p>Everything happens for a reason, right?<br>There are forces at work in the Universe that we can’t see or understand, but that doesn’t mean we should ignore the signs!<br>Sometimes, we’re in just the right place, at just the right time, and the Universe gives us a little nudge.<br>If you’ve been feeling stressed out and overworked, and someone suddenly offers you a vacation… that’s a good sign!<br>If you’ve been looking for a way to live a better, happier life, and the answer just falls in your lap… that’s a good sign!<br>Don’t ignore the messages you’re being sent.<br>Be open to the signs you’re getting. Allowing yourself to see the positive messages and opportunities around you is a critical part of loving yourself.</p>



<p><strong>#8: Say “No” When People Ask Too Much of You.</strong></p>



<p>Everyone is constantly demanding more from you. Your boss, your family, your friends… they mean well, but sometimes, they can ask too much of you. And only YOU can decide when enough is enough! You want to be a helpful, dependable person… and that’s awesome! But if you spread yourself too thin, you aren’t truly loving yourself. Plus, you can’t be helpful to <em>anyone </em>if you’re constantly stressed out and overworked. Sometimes the best way to take care of other people is to take care of yourself first. <strong>But how do you actually practice saying “no”?</strong> For most of us, agreeing to do more work or give too much of ourselves is automatic. In order to break the cycle, you have to make a decision ahead of time. By drawing a line and saying “this is as much as I can do,” you’ll be better prepared to say “no” the next time you’re asked for a big (or small) favor. And remember: <strong>Saying “no” isn’t rude.</strong> In fact, you can be extremely polite about it! Here are a few examples of how to say “no” without hurting someone’s feelings.</p>



<ul><li>I’m sorry, but I just don’t have the time to give this project the focus and attention it deserves.</li><li>I would love to help, but I believe Chelsea would be a better fit.</li><li>With everything I’m doing right now, this project won’t be as successful. If you can delay it by a few weeks, we would get much better results.</li></ul>



<p>Ultimately, saying “no” to someone else’s request is a way to say “yes” to yourself: “yes” to your own happiness, healing, and success.<strong>#9: Say “Yes” When Opportunities Arise! (Don’t Be Afraid to Get What You Deserve.)</strong></p>



<p>Sometimes, an opportunity will fall in your lap.</p>



<p>It might be the most amazing opportunity you’ve seen in years… and yet, your still feel the impulse to say no!</p>



<p>Why?</p>



<p>Why are you willing to deny yourself the joy and happiness you deserve?</p>



<p>Sometimes it’s because of money: you don’t want to spend $50 on yourself, even though you’ll spend hundreds of dollars on other people.</p>

<p>When the path is long and difficult is easy to feel like you should give up. But how do you know you should keep going forward?</p>



<p>My friend, professional speaker and world record champion, Croix Sather puts it this way …</p>



<p>“I get asked, ‘Did you ever want to give up when you were running across America?’ When I was running, my body ached intensely, my mind was tired, and my will-power was exhausted. Every day I wanted to quit. But I never quit and I never considered quitting.</p>



<p>A better question to ask is, “How did you know to keep going?” Part of the answer is to know that you are on the right path and see the signs confirming that you are suppose to be right here and right now.</p>



<p>Every day I would run a marathon distance a day. Plus each day I would speak to audiences in need. These were people in difficult life circumstances. I spoke to wounded warriors, homeless shelters, addiction centers, juvenile detention centers, and rural high schools.</p>



<p>Every time that I felt the weakest and the desire to give up was the strongest, something would happen that would give me strength and power to keep going. These were signs and gifts from the universe saying, “Have faith, stay strong, and keep going. I’ve got your back.”</p>



<p>It was day 21, I was in Las Cruces, New Mexico and I still had 5 miles to go when my body shut down and I collapsed to the ground. It was late at night and I was alone. Or so I thought. As I sat on the sidewalk and my body was screaming in pain, I saw something shinny on the ground. It was a red coin about the size of a half dollar. On it, it said, “One Month Sobriety.”</p>



<p>My dad was an alcoholic for many years until one day he had a day dream that he was talking to his father when he said, “Son, it’s time to take your life back. I love you and know you can do it. You are stronger than this challenge. It’s time to stop drinking forever.” My dad put down the bottle in his hand. Threw out all the alcohol in the house and he never drank again.”</p>



<p>That one month sobriety coin I found reminded me that my dad had the strength to overcome his greatest challenge. So I stood up, I put the coin in my pocket and I started walking. My last five miles should have only taken an hour to finish. It took me 4 hours to finish.</p>



<p>The universe is saying to you, “Have faith, stay strong, and keep going. I’ve got your back.” The signs are there when you are at your darkest moments, you just have to believe.</p>



<p>That red coin that I found, I carried it with me for the remaining 79 days. I would hold it and rub it as if a genie was going to appear and it always helped me move forward. When I arrived in NYC at the finish line, I gave the coin to my dad. I told him the story of the moment I found the coin and he still carries the coin to this day.</p>



<p>Sometimes he tells the story about me running across America to his friends and they don’t believe that it is possible. “Nobody can run a marathon a day.” He pulls out the coin and tells them the story. My dad has helped dozens of men stop drinking in his AA meetings and he has been sober for over 15 years.</p>



<p>We are all connected. <p>About a year ago, I noticed that my spiritual life was growing rapidly. I had an awakening, kind of. So I started wondering how to attract your soulmate. It begins to observe the interconnection of the world and humans to it more than ever.</p>



<p>I had always read books about quantum physics and the Law of Attraction but the Law of Attraction is only 1 of 12 universal laws. The spiritual shift I was having was different from anything I’d experienced before. So, I became hyper aware that my level of consciousness was increasing. I also became aware, as I started to attract new individuals into my life, that they were in the midst of a spiritual awakening too.</p>



<p>The state of the world was changing and the mass consciousness was increasing as a result of singular consciousness increases. This occurs because of the Law of Vibration, the second of 12 universal laws. The Law of Vibration posits that everything in the Universe vibrates – each sound, thing, and every thought has its own vibrational frequency. These energetic frequencies can be increased or lowered depending on what we do with them.&nbsp;<br></p>



<h3>Relationship Frequencies</h3>



<p>I caught myself thinking about the Law of Vibration the other day after a guy who ghosted me popped up in my social media circle. When he suddenly stopped talking to me, it left such an empty feeling because there was no closure. I would often wonder “why is this happening?” and girlfriends would inevitably chime in and say “he’s not on your level” or “you’re too good for him anyway.”</p>

<h3>Were there right?</h3>



<p>Those things my girlfriends had been saying all those years were true because when we raise our vibration, we experience spiritual, mental and emotional growth. We quite literally,&nbsp;<em>level up</em>. And anyone who vibrates at a low energy whose frequency is no longer aligned with ours is “magically” and sometimes, suddenly removed from our life.</p>



<p>It’s not that I was too&nbsp;<em>good</em>&nbsp;for this man, it’s that I was too&nbsp;<em>healthy</em>. If I hadn’t continued to expand my consciousness, we might still be talking. We might still be talking if we were vibrationally synchronized but today, I’m not interested in&nbsp;<em>levelling down</em>. I believe a good way to gauge our spiritual, mental and emotional condition is to look at the people we’re attracting into our lives. I believe those people are often a reflection of our own character, our strengths and shortcomings. For better or worse, they show us what needs to be improved and discarded.&nbsp;</p>



<h3>After Some Breakups</h3>



<p>After a tumultuous breakup in 2010, I spent nine months in a depression over my ex-boyfriend. At the start of those nine months, I began my journey into recovery from alcoholism and had been aggressively seeking and working toward a spiritual awakening.</p>



<p>One day I realized I had stopped obsessing about him. It’s not that I woke up that day and was simply “over it” but as I gradually became healthier — mentally, emotionally and spiritually — the person who he was was no longer attractive to me. I sought out and was gifted with healthier romantic relationships because I now existed in a space where I could emulate the positive qualities I was looking for in a partner. </p>



<h3>Irreconcilable Frequencies</h3>

<p>Furthermore I would like to clarify that sometimes a romantic separation occurs between two high vibration individuals. Just because it didn’t work out doesn’t mean your partner was <em>bad</em> or <em>sick</em>. You could have a relationship with a perfectly healthy person, it doesn’t have to be somebody that is operating at a low frequency.</p>

<p>So why doesn’t it work out? It may just be that although the person you’re with is operating at a high frequency, you are operating at a high<em>er</em>&nbsp;frequency because you are doing the work to achieve that consciously or not. When that shift takes place and your energies are no longer aligned, a separation occurs. So often in the media we see celebrities getting divorced citing “<em>irreconcilable differences</em>.” It’s not about that. It’s about&nbsp;<em>irreconcilable frequencies</em>.&nbsp;<br></p>



<p>Vibrations apply not only to people but also to thoughts, feelings and actions. An example is&nbsp;<em>thinking</em>&nbsp;“I’m being treated unfairly,” therefore,&nbsp;<em>feeling</em>&nbsp;angry and&nbsp;<em>acting</em>&nbsp;rageful. Self-defeating thoughts and feelings such as anger, jealousy and shame are all low vibration energies that can cause us to take actions that emit frequencies on a low level.&nbsp;<br></p>



<h3><strong>How to Reach Your Higher Self</strong></h3>

<p>How do we raise our vibrations? Do something that gives you a joyful feeling. High vibration emotions and attitudes include love, acceptance, forgiveness and gratitude.</p>

<p>Some things that elevate me are walking, playing with a pet, meditation, prayer, creative writing, laughter, helping out a friend… You can choose how you want to increase your vibrations. My higher self was sitting at the top of a staircase, I just had to <em>step up</em>.</p>

The only reason you are not seeing it is that your mind is blocking it from entering into your field of view.<br><br>It is impossible to manifest your desires until you have learned how to get rid of limiting beliefs in your subconscious mind which are generating negative thoughts that have been working against you.<br><br>There is no point in making wishes and forming conscious intentions until you have learned to let things to pass through the walls that your mind has created.<br><br>In some ways, we can say that the greatest enemy preventing you from achieving your heart desires is you. While it is true that you are making some conscious efforts to achieve what you want, at the same time you engage your mind in thoughts that build negative perspectives which block you from being able to see clearly, the right paths to achieving your dreams.<br><br>When you build a very strong awareness of the present moment for yourself while learning to enjoy the moments to the fullest, you are able to reach a state of flow where your desires come to manifestation quickly. <h2><br>Gratitude exercises</h2>



<p><br>In this part of the post, we will go over some effective exercises that you can make use of. However, you should practice these tips anyhow you want to. Just make sure you do whatever you are doing with a genuine feeling. These exercises cannot help you achieve specific things; you need to start developing positive habits and concentrate on the great things you have going for you until it becomes a part of your natural qualities.<br></p>



<ul><li><strong>Practice Morning Gratitude</strong></li></ul>



<p><br>Like I mentioned earlier, the best way to start your morning is to begin by meditating over all that you love in your life at the moment. You need to simply lie down or sit-up in your bed after you have woken up and consider the things that have made you very happy in previous days while expressing your gratitude to the higher power of the universe for the things that have brought you happiness so far.<br></p>



<ul><li><strong>Keeping a Gratitude Journal</strong></li></ul>



<p><br>Keeping a gratitude journal is not something most people find very easy (even I find it hard to do so), but it is more effective to write down things that you are thankful for than merely thinking about them.<br><br>Your subconscious mind is better aware of things that you write down with strong emotions than things you try to keep in your mind. If you feel up to it, get yourself a nice journal and write down the things you are grateful for. How often you do this depends entirely on you. Whether it is daily or weekly. Just make sure you are making a list of the things that you are happy.<br><br>When writing, you can begin your journal entry with the words “I am so grateful and happy that___” then write about those things which you love. This might be something as insignificant as your early morning coffee or even a lovely song you couldn’t stop listening to all day.<br></p>



<ul><li><strong>Say Grace before your Meals</strong></li></ul>



<p><br>Even if you are not Catholic, this simple ritual is something you can practice. Each time you are sitting down to eat your meal, you should always remind yourself to express gratitude to the higher powers.<br><br>Think of all the good things that have happened to you during the day prior to that time whenever you sit at the table to have your meal. You can also say some thanks for the food you are about to it.<br></p>



<ul><li><strong>Active Gratitude</strong></li></ul>



<p><br>This last point is actually my favorite. It is something I have mentioned a couple of times in some posts. With time, active gratitude will become second nature.<br><br>Whenever you experience anything that evokes a positive feeling within you, you should say “thanks” for it immediately. Doing this is perhaps the best and the sincerest way of showing you are grateful. When you are able to say thanks for any good thing that happens per time, you do so with a sincere feeling.<br><br>Some moments ago, a close friend that I haven’t heard from for a long time called me. I said thanks immediately after I took the call because I was really happy. That’s exactly how it works. You don’t need something big to happen before you show gratitude. It doesn’t have to be something big like winning the lottery or getting a promotion. Most people concentrate so much on their desires or the things they are yet to achieve that they end up ignoring those things that truly matter.<br><br>Many of us would do anything to go back to being teenagers, but if you think about it you will remember that when you were a teen, you desperately wanted to grow up. At every point in time, we are losing and gaining things. Then put it all together like this:&nbsp;<em>“BEFORE, I was broke, miserable and hated the world. But I know better NOW and want to turn it around. Things are about to change, and SOON I&#8217;ll be prosperous, happy and living my dream life.”</em><br></li><li><strong>Affirmations that are crystal clear:</strong>&nbsp;Saying something like “I am loved” or “I am blessed” is a good start, but they&#8217;re a bit vague. Try elaborating on these ideas and flesh them out even more. Then you&#8217;ll end up with a statement like&nbsp;<em>“I&#8217;m surrounded by people who love and support me. They help me grow as a person and want to see me succeed.” As for being blessed, you can say “I&#8217;m blessed with infinite opportunities and resources, and my life is full and abundant.”</em><br></li><li><strong>Affirmations with an attitude:</strong>&nbsp;Another way to supercharge your subconscious is by being a little cheeky with your statements. When that voice of fear and insecurity kicks in, drown out the noise with,&nbsp;<em>“Whatever, I&#8217;m amazing at everything I do. I fight like hell and do my best, and I can&#8217;t hear what you&#8217;re saying!”&nbsp;</em>Adding some lighthearted humor amplifies your signal and makes it easier for the Universe to hear your thoughts. Try this the next time you&#8217;re feeling especially down on yourself.</li></ul>
